Talking Too Many Choices, Not enough days..what would you do?

I decided to splurge and book the Equinox next month for the
short 4 nighter.
What would ya'll do about dinner? Try each of the Specialty
Restaurants and skip the Main dining room totally?
Go once on formal night to the Main dining room and 3 nights
go elsewhere?
If it was a 7 nighter it would not be such a difficult choice
but for such a short cruise I just don't know what I want to do

I put down traditional late dining since they ask for something when you book,
but after going on Solstice last year I know the Tuscan Grill
is calling my name

Any thoughts?

Hi Lois,

That sounds great -- formal night in the MDR and the other nights in the alternative restaurants. Maybe you can try Blu?
Make sure you do a lunch in the Bistro of Five! Love that place!

Enjoy!

Hi Kelly, hope you and Lauren are doing well and its always
nice to see you
I think you have to be in AquaClass to dine in Blu so that
is not in my equation

Hi Lois - I agree with formal night in the MDR and then the Specialty Restaurants the other nights. I thought that if Blu wasn't filled to capacity that possibly you can get a table????? We also looked at that 4 nighter, but unfortunately the airfares are what stopped us.
Have a great cruise!
Patty

Lois - why not sign up for Select dining rather than late seating with no specific reservation. Then you can decide when you gt on board, or at the last minute, and not worry about an empty place at your dinner table or a disappointed waiter.

We'll be getting off the Equinox when you're getting on - so we'll miss sailing with you again.

Hi Larry, thank you for that suggestion. I normally love
sitting at the same table each night but for this short cruise
I am doing just what you mentioned.
I decided to do the Select and signed up for it this morning.

Lois, we wish we could take your place so you wouldn't have such a quandry.

Solution is simple-either stay on the ship for the next voyage, or double up on dinner. Eat in the MDR at 6, then go to the specialty restaurant around 8:30.

As usual, Larry has a great idea. Wish we could sail with him and Sue again-they are nice folks.

Happy Sails to You

if you're trying to get as much variety as possible in the short cruise then the MD formal night and 3 specialty restaurants may be best

I'm doing first and last nights in Specialty restaurants if everything turns out well first night in Murano. We did a Specialty restaurant on our NCL cruise in March and wife was not impressed and saw no reason to pay for a specialty restaurant on Celebrity. I talked her into it so we will have to see...

We will probably also do MDR on one of the remaining nights but not sure about formal night, probably just wing it in the buffet area with pasta or pizza. It's only four night cruise and we chose not to bring formal clothes this time...

Hey Bob....double up on dinner....hmmmmmmm...LOL not!..LOL
I did what Larry suggested and booked Select dining. It will be
a new experience for me but I think I will be able to handle it
Who knows, maybe I will find some friendly folks on the roll
call and possibly have some fun tablemates that way.
No matter, I will enjoy myself.....

I would pick one specialty restaurant this time around & do the others another time-- you will never get to do everything in 4 days-- we have been on the ship twice for about 17 days & still have a things to see & do list!

The MDR food is very good--
