Default Royal Family Suites on Radiance

There are two Royal Family Suites available on the sailing I am looking at - 9656 and 8668. When you look at the deck plan layout of both of these suites - 9656 shows some kind of line drawn across the back corner of the balcony area. Is anyone who has stayed in either of these rooms able to provide any info on the balcony sizes of these suites? Are they both comperable or is one larger than the other and do they wrap around the corner or only go to the back railing? Thank you so much.

Hi,

I've stayed in 8668 on the Radiance and our friends had the one above us on the 9th deck. I can't remember exactly which, but one balcony was slightly larger (possibly 8668), but I would not consider either one to be "wraparound". The part that "wraps around" is difficult to get to because of the shape of the ship... you really do not gain much. You cannot see the front of the ship from either balcony.

You do need to be aware that the layout of the two suites are different in these two rooms. In 8668, the living room area is larger and has a large porthole (but you really can't see much view... it was nice to have the sunlight coming in though) and the layout looks like the picture on the website.

In the RFS on deck 9, the layout is different... the living area is much smaller and has no window and the Master Bedroom is much larger with more closet space.

So you might want to consider if you want a bigger living room or a bigger Master bedroom.

Hope this helps.
