Default Solstice/Equinox comparisons

We sailed on the new Solstice last year during Thanksgiving and will be going on the new Equinox this year same time. The Solstice was absolutely beautiful. Service, food , etc was truly great. Wow, Life is good. I wondered if there were any major differences in the layout of the ship. Has anyone sailed on both ships?

As I understand it, there are no major changes between these two ships. Most of the changes were decor. Be on the look out for changes on Eclipse. There should be changes on this shape based on feedback from Solstice/Equinox.

We will be on EQ on Nov 19. We are thinking of doing live blogs during our short cruise and will let you know and take lots of pics.

We have sailed on both. Aside from some color changes in the MDR and the artwork, the ships are pretty much identical. We absolutely LOVED both cruises !!!

I've been on Solstice but not Equinoxe. One space that absolutely delighted me was the small room on the way into the Ensemble Lounge. This is the room that has very high quality dark tiles all over the floor and walls, with images of little 'bugs' on them. There's also a plinth with a dramatic pot on it.

What's in the equivalent location on Equinoxe?

we were recently on the Caribbean Princess with a delightful couple from Wirral UK----so much fun and really put together----hope to see them again next fall

we'll be Celebrity from now on----Princess was good but not Celebrity
we love Aft even though it's a long walk----appreciate all your helpful insight---look forward to your next post

Not as good as the Solstice. It is sort of folded metal lighted flowers...... Not nearly as dramitic

Default Thanksgiving Eclipse 2010

Cereus,
We have Eclipse booked for Thanksgiving cruise 2010, were there many kids on your last Thanksgiving cruise? We are looking forward to Celebrity after our upcoming cruise and plan to stay with Celebrity, especially because of the non-smoking policy.
