Hey everyone,

Does anyone know what time the Jade starts boarding in Barcelona? My friend and I are going to try to be one of the first people on.

On a 4 pm sailing we have been onboard at 11:30 am. Don't you have an equivalent you can contact on the Jade and inquire? I would think someone onboard the Jade could give you the scoop.

Hi James.

I just got my edocs this week for my Jan 3rd cruise on the Jade ex Barcelona ...guest check in starts at 12pm (for the 7pm departure)... so I will probably be there at 10am .

I would have thought (silly me) an employee paying for a cruise could get some kind of early or priority boarding. Apparently not. Have fun though!

No matter what the documents say (from 12.00 noon boarding) they will start boarding from 11.00 - 11.30am. You will be offered a welcome champagne and directed to the Garden Cafe lunch buffet on Deck 10, but can explore the ship anywhere you wish and can even have lunch in the main dining room (they do not publicise this, but lunch is available there). The "cabins ready" announcement is normally made between 1.30 and 2.00pm.

On our January '09 Jade cruise from Barcelona we boarded at 11:30 AM and were having lunch in the Venetian Dining Room by noon. You are going to have a FABULOUS time!!
