Default cruise out of galveston --weather

has anyone been watching the developing situation in the gulf is it something i need to be worried about ---we leave tommorow on a 8 day cruise ---- we went last year on thanksgiving and it was smooth as a kitten now im so worried im makin myself sick......................

If there is trouble at the port Carnival will call and let you know. If there is no problem at the port, you will board and be off. They will make the decision on what to do based on what is best for the ship and the paxs once things are analysed tomorrow.

You could have a bumpy ride but hope for the best.

BTW, I love a bumpy ride. Adds spice to the trip.

Im assuming typo, you meant the 7 day Conquest cruises?? They dont count them as 8 days, they count nights on the cruise, full days = 7.

There's really nothing out there... A pretty strong front came through and built some good seas but, at this moment, the large swells are hundreds of miles off shore and headed south and west.

By the time y'all head back next Saturday the swells will be down to six to eight feet... not bad... not bad at all...
