Special Occasion Cake

My DH & I will be celebrating our 30th Ann. on the Gem in Feb. I wanted to surprise him with decoration and cake, Several people have told me that the cake only comes in strawberry. I have allergies to strawberries can some one come up with an answer about what I can switch it with.

Hello, I would contact the Special Needs Department and ask if they have a suggestion. I also have allergies and they have been very helpful. You should contact them now and then again 1 month before you cruise.

NCL also makes vanilla and chocolate cakes. They are both very good.

I agree with the advice to contact special needs.

How allergic are you? If you can be in the room with strawberries but can't eat them yourself, you could consider surprising DH with the $79 anniversary package. It is very nice package for the price, but it does include chocalate covered strawberries in your room. Special needs might be able to make a substitution due to your allergy, but I might not risk it it the possible presence of the berries could trigger a reaction.
