Default Dining Table Size Request

Hi All-

I just booked two cabins on AOS and linked the reservations for traditional seating in the dining room. There are two people in each room. Will RCCL naturally assign us to a table for 4 or do I need to formally request and if so, how do I do it?

Thx

Since your reservations are linked, the four of you will be seated at the same table, but not necessarily at a table for only four people.

Very well put. We were 6 people in 3 cabins and were sat together on our own table. Luck of the draw. We had a great time however chatting to the neighbouring tables.

Default Only sure method

You can request anything, and RCL will tell you it is okay. The only sure way is to head for the dining room as soon as you board and scope out your assigned table. Then go immediately to the matre'D and have it changed to what you originally wanted.

RCCL only does small(4-6) and large(8-10) requests and table size is NEVER guaranteed. You can ask the maitre d' but they still may not be able to pur you at a table for 4.

My last two cruises I requested large tables...got tables for two each time. We switched on the first day...what a hassle..very nasty people also switching....really enjoyed our large tables.

Last Oct a couple on our Roll Call linked their dining with ours, and we were seated with another couple for a table of 6. We generally ask for a table of 6 or higher and as yet haven't been at a table of 10.
