Cool

Cabin, balcony, sports bar (if one) and back ledo deck.

Non smokes on ships are not as hostile as those on this thread....

Wink Suse

They asked a legitimate question about a ship.

That is what this board is about.

Just because you do not like the subject does not mean that it is wrong....

Just our opinions

Sorry I'm off the topic but I just wanted to wish Ruth and Jim a wonderful time on the msPRINSENDAM. We did this AMAZON EXPLORER trip last November and had a fantastic time. You are going to love it and hopefully you will fill us (your Cruise Critic friends) all in about this great journey. We'll love to hear about it.

BON VOYAGE with wonderful weather and calm seas!!!!

You are so funny! No actually, it doesn't bother me that much. It is so much fun when the debate occurs. No, really, I go to some parties and I cannot believe that people smoke at them, but they do, but like Frankie sang once, "that's life".

I think you can smoke in a portion of the Crows Nest on the R and S class ships which includes the Rotterdam, but not on the Vistas or the Eurodam. The policies gradually change, usually to less smoking; so be prepared for that.

Default smking

Just got off the Eurodam, & smoking seems to be permitted everywhere which is why I`ll never cruise with them again, especially when I spent money for a veranda & not able to use it due to cigar smokers smoke & this is totally permissable according to the front desk. So smokers please all sail on HAL & inhale all those wonderful aroma`s you so desire.

How is smoking related to cripples and fat people. Kind of a weird comparison, don't you think? Very strange analysis. Sir, you must be rather mistaken here.

I do think smoking is very funny. Especially when it comes out of people's noses. Very odd. Have fun. See ya later alligator.

I absolutely abhor the smell of cigarette smoke and I have spent a total of 40 days on the Eurodam since the first of August. In all fairness I must say that aside from the casino and the bar area by the aft pool, I really never noticed the smell of smoke anywhere. Since it is allowed in those areas all one has to do is to avoid them. I never had a problem in the hallways, cabin or balcony---or any other location on this beautiful ship.

I also noticed Eurodam smoking only on one section of the aft pool area and in the casino area. It wasn't permitted in the Crows Nest, Ocean Lounge or any other indoor lounges excepting, I think, the lounge by the casino. No one smoked on the balconies on either side or us or nearby, but that's just luck. Possibly there were more smokers on Boca's cruise than on Sapper's or ours.
(Note: OP asked a question and some of us, both smokers and non-smokers, are trying to answer answer the question. )
