Default My opinion about all the boards...Just

ask what question you have in mind. You will get a variety of answers. Weigh all of them and the majority who say the same thing...that is right. Don't question a person's opinion...opinions are very subjective. There are many posters on all of the boards who are very defensive of their particular favorite line. All lines are different and some offer more on one side of the fence and others on the other side. What is important to one is not important to another person. Do not think they are being unkind...it is just that some are so defensive of their particular line. One time I wrote what I thought was a very objective view on a cruise..not Regent...and I got blasted so hard on the board that I never posted any opinions again and probably never will. But do accept the views of all and then make your own decision.

Like another poster said...happy sailing with a following sea! Have wonderful cruises. Any cruise is a wonderful cruise.

Default Old Naval Blessing

My Navy Air Veteran friend tells me this is a time-honored Navy saying :

"Fair Winds and Following Seas "

I agree about these Boards : Facts are helpful and opinions can vary from person to person.

Yes Carol, you are right. We should all feel free to post our opinions here about cruising, cruise ships and voyages. But this board would be a lot healthier if we did not post our opinions about others posts. I.e., we can respectfully disagree and post contradictory opinions, and let the questionner take what they can from it, but not get into wrestling matches with each other.

I cannot say more strongly that I wish everybody on this board would do this. When I see new posters here, subject to the kind of wrangling that goes on, I am embarrassed.

Default As always, Wendy...I am with you..the "dove of peace"

trying to fly around and hoping things will smooth out.

I guess I learned a long time ago to say, my opinion only...however on this venue if my opinion doesn't always agree with another's opinion...ouch!

Myself, I have found wonderful friends on the board, including you, and I have learned invaluable information. I try to always keep in calm and level. The sad part of this polyanna attitude is sometimes the real truth is lurking in the background.

I feel that Regent monitors this board and sadly there are things that they should know that would help them, but it is best not to go there--in my opinion.

Caroldoll, have really appreciated your words on this thread. I enjoy seeing you on this board -- you have an open mind and express your opinions well (even if you do prefer another line).
