Default Coral Princess-Post Drydock-Gym

For those of you who have been on the Coral since she was in drydock, I understand the Sanctuary is located aft of the gym (and also the deck above it). If I'm on a treadmill in the gym, will I still be able to see the sea or will my view be blocked by the Sanctuary or something else?

Interesting question. If no one answers, I'll let you know in a few weeks when I do my next LIVE.

Since they told me in October that TV's would be present on the new equipment, I'll just watch that and/or read instead of gazing at the water.

The first "post dry-dock" passengers are just getting off today.

You will be able to see the sea, but you will also be able to see Sanctuary. You can use a machine on the sides instead of on the back and look out. Some of the weight machines were not working. Some of the weight machines were not put together correctly. The new machines are great....just need to get them all working. Didn't happen during the first post-dry dock cruise.

I was in the gym working out, and could watch someone getting a massage! I brought this to the attention of someone in the spa, and they said, "well, the person getting the massage must not care" (!). Later, I saw they put the shades down so those in the gym wouldn't be able to watch the massages.

Thanks for the info. Hoping that by December 7th all will be in working order. Are there TV's in front of each treadmill and elliptical?

The photo that Princess posted in the Drydock journal of the completed gym showed treadmills now each with its own TV.

Each treadmill and each elliptical has it's own TV. The equipment is very nice.

You can still see out. The treadmills facing aft will look out over the Sanctuary area but you can still see aft. No problem with treadmills/ellipticals facing port.

This is not possible, unless the masseuse did not draw the drapes on the Sanctuary treatment bed. It is a tent-like structure. If the client DID care, she would have asked that the drapes be closed.

Sorry - it's possible - I saw it, and DH saw it, too. The masseuse did not use a "tent like structure". There was a folding screen up to shield the person from others in the Sanctuary, but the windows in the gym were not blocked.

The next day, the shades in the gym were drawn, and a few days later, the whole table was moved.
