Default Height of waves ??

I wonder if anyone can help.
I had once seen a site that gives the forecast of the height of waves.
We're sailing in the Med next week.

Try this site. You may have to register, but there are a lot of areas to search.

Frankly, weather forcasts aren't precise are they? Tomorrow's may be on the mark. but forcasts for more than a couple of days have to be received with a grain of salt. Booking a cruise a month in advance for a week's cruise, its weather and sea condition forcast is nothing more than fantasy.

Even if the forcast was accurate, cold fronts pass any given place every three or four days during the winter months. So during any week there is a good chance for stormy weather, which equates to stormy seas at least one day.

Oceans are not deserts.

I can tell you, I just returned yesterday from the Gem, forcast was for rain everyday except for our last day in Cannes, I packed two raincoats for the trip, packed one with me everyday (was partly cloudy everyday, looked like it could rain) but never rained.... Was a BEAUTIFUL, pure blue sky, no need for a rain coat day when we got on the tender in Cannes , so of course I didn't take a raincoat with me, then it poured down rain..... Moral of the story, don't read the weather forcasts............

Go, and have a great time!!!!!

You're all so right - weather forecasts are FAR from precise.
The time I remember most was once when we were in London. The forecast was rain, so we dutifully took umbrellas, raincoats with us. It was 'partly cloudy' all day. Yet in the evening when giving the day's weather it said it had rained in the morning.
So if they can't even get the previous weather right , just imagine how accurate their forecasts are.
Still, like horoscopes, I always read the forecasts.
