Default Explorer/embarkabtion/dining room option

Was wondering if the dining room is open for lunch on embarkation day?

We did this cruise last year and the only option was buffet which was mob scene and packed.

Was wondering if RCCL was following NCL/HAL and having dining room open for lunch on day of embarkation. It is a much more pleasant experience than the herd!

Thanks

No dining room on boarding day....Eat a late breakfast before boarding, and you can avoid the "madness" of the WJ!

I've seen postings on CC that talk about the Cafe Promenade being open on boarding day, but I don't know if this is universal on all the Voyager and Freedom class ships.
