Negative Comments Get a Response

It seems as though people who send emails or write letters to customer relations at Princess Cruises and complain generally hear back while people who send compliments never hear a thing back. True?

In February, upon returning home, I sent a pdf letter attached to an e-mail to Alan Buckelew's e-mail address. It was a commendation letter regarding a shoreside supervisor (which I had promised to her that I would write) that had taken care of us at embarkation and gotten us out of a real jam ... long story, but my passport was at home, and not in its rightful place. I received a very nice response within the hour that the employee would receive a copy of my letter, as would her supervisor and it would go in her HR file.

I wrote a letter a few months ago that was full of compliments. I wasn't expecting a response, but about 2-3 weeks later I did. And it wasn't a form letter.

I wrote a complimentary letter after my first princess cruise and got a response after about 2 weeks.
