Default Pricing Question: Senior Travelers & Repeat Travelers

I am pricing options for Spring 2010. We are getting 2 cabins. One for us (repeaters) and one for my mother & guest (seniors). The NCL reservation system asks if we are repeaters and if there are seniors in our group, I put yes but it doesn't give price breaks for either of those options. I always thought repeat cruisers and Senior cruisers got a small discount. Am I missing something? Would I be better off calling direct?

It depends on whether they are offering discounts on the cruise. You can usually check if they on one of the major travel web sites.

Book on line through a reputable agent, our experience is that we have always got a better price, on board credits etc, than going on line or direct with NCL.

On our upcoming cruise the age, Latitudes and residency didn't produce any different pricing that leaving all blank. Our cruise was not designated as a cruise that these discounts applied to BUT a week or so ago our cruise became a Latitudes cruise so I called and go an additional 50.00 each off the cruise price. This is another reason to check the pricing online frequently.

Personally I prefer to book through NCL direct since when there may be a quickly sale or discount I can get it done immediately not wait until my TA goes back into the office and then they are just contacting NCL.

Not every cruise has a senior/past passenger/military/union/residency discount. All depends on how well it's selling if they add those discounts.
