Default Florence, Rome, Naples....Restaurant Question

When I travel, food is totally secondary to me. However, some in our party (we'll be on the Jade in July doing the Western Mediterranean) want to revolve at least one day around excellent food when we are ashore.

What nice sit-down lunch places can any of you recommend while at port in any of the three above mentioned sites? And the restaurant doesn't have to be in that city per se. For instance, while in Florence it is quite possible that we may do the Cinque Terre excursion trip.

I want to keep everyone happy here....let them eat (and I will join them)....but let me see the sights too.
