Default Cancelling Chops on 1st night?

I really want to eat at CHOPS, but i don't want to go on a night where there is something we really want to eat in the MDR. Somebody here posted a recent MDR menu, and from that list, i really don't like anything for the first night. From what i understand, the order of the menu might change from one cruise to the other. So if i pre-book CHOPS, and find out when embarking that it's not the menu in the MDR that i thought it was, can i change my CHOPS appointment to another night?

I hope this makes sense!!

It makes perfect sense. Isn't there a place on the RCCL site that tells you how to cancel Chops?

I don't THINK the menu is gonna change. I have YET to be on an RCCL cruise where the Vidalia Onion Tart wasn't offered on night one and night one only.

To me, the best part about going to night one in the MDR is meeting your table mates, though.

You make perfect sense. Frankly, I would just wait to board to reserve your table at Chops for the first evening.

You will be able to cancel onboard and attempt to make a new appointment for another night BUT I do believe that cancellations with less than 24 hours notice are subject to a fee which I think was about $10. Not sure if this fee is per person on per reservation.

As a general rule the first night is not heavily booked in Chops so why don't you wait and look at the MDR menu when you get on board and then decide if you want to book or not. That would seem to work better for you and easier for them too.
