Fort James Beach
We will be sailing on the Summit in February and are wondering whether Fort James Beach is within walking distance from the pier or is there public transportation?

|
It is the closet beach to the pier and you could walk to it but you are on vacation and it is a very short taxi ride to get your toes in the sand. The walk on the beach is a much nicer walk than the walk from the busy, crowded downtown area.
