Default Little Girl's Princess Dresses

I read in one of the boards that little girls wear princess dresses on the Disney Cruises. We're cruising Nov 28 and want to have our little princess prepared. Should she bring Disney Pricess dresses to wear on the ship?

Yes, definately, bring 2 or more....
There's only a few places in the world where you totally fit in wearing a princess dress in a restaurant and the Disney cruise ship is one of them.

Our daughter packed a couple, one Cinderella and Jasmine and sure enough she had her picture taken onboard with both "Princesses". Plus like Phunchak said it is where you "expect" to see a ship full of Princesses in waiting. Wish you and the "Princess" a wonderful cruise.

Yes bring her a couple of princess dresses.
They are great for dinner, especially formal night and photos are really great when she will have on a Cinderella dress while being photographed with Cinderella.
Many girls wear princess dresses on pirate night too if they dont want to dress like a pirate. I saw alot of that on our cruise last week on the Magic.

If I remember correctly, there is a princess party on board. My DD was under 2 so I didn't take her but I think I remember reading this.

I'm trying to decide if i want to have my DD wear their princess dress for formal night. I think if I do, I will have to buy them new dress since their current princess dresses are too small or in bad shape.

My 3 year old loves Belle. We have a formal Belle dress we got just for the cruise. I'm sure it will be one of our highlights seeing them together!

The last Disney cruise Bell was in both her gown and blue and white day outfit on different days. We actually met "Bell's" mother ( wasn't suppose to tell us so shhhhh!)who was her mother in real life was on the cruise with us and was quite interesting in telling us "Bell's" history in theatre and Broadway. What a great talent and a wonderful family she has. Hope your daughter's dreams come true and meets Bell.

Going on my first disney cruise this January. Its a three night cruise and I got three dresses for my 2 year old. I figure I will dress her in a different dress each night for dinner. (I should clarify, grandma bought them, I have two older boys so grandma is going a little nuts for her grand-daughter)

Default Wonderfull with the dresses!

My two girls had one dress each packed for a 3 day cruise and used it a few times. I've attached a photo of my girls at the meet the princesses signing, if I did it right!
From my experience on the 3 day cruise I will say, do not ever leave your camera behind! Make sure you've got a point and shoot and that you keep it in your bag at all times. Minnie was in the registration area before you get on the ship, we ran into Cinderella the very first night after picking my girls up from the kids club, and she was soooooo very nice to the girls, even though she very obviously was on her way to or from somewhere. My 4 year old took a nap so my husband took my 6 year old to swim, and she saw Mickey up on the next level, ran up and got to be the only one talking to him! Thank goodness my husband had his camera, she still talks about how she saw Mickey and got to talk to him.
Don't take the trolley, walk when you get off at Castaway Cay because they have THE cutest photo ops along the way, and the wait wasn't too bad at all. Look at the schedule they drop off to see when Captain Jack Sparrow will be out because that is the most awesome photo with the ship from the movie anchored out in the bay, and he was hysterical! My little girl totally didn't get his humor, but my husband and I were just dying laughing! By the way, this is where you get your family photo in front of the ship also, don't miss it, so make sure you're dressed for it when you get off the ship!
Get one of those camping packing bags that you roll the air out of to save space (I think I bought ours at Walmart) and it makes packing those fluffy dressy less space consuming. We are doing the Grand Caymen, Cozemel 7 day cruise this weekend also!
