Default San Fran & Phoenix Airport help?

Can anyone give me info on the best way to get from Terminal 1 (US Air) to Terminal 3 (United) in San Fran. Also, Terminal 4 (US Air) to Terminal 2 (United) in Phoenix? Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

US and UA Domestic / Canada gates are at opposite ends of the airport. To make matters worse, you will have to go through security again as the shuttle between the two was axed some time ago . To go from a US to a UA Domestic / Canada flight here is how I would do it.

1) Before you fly to SFO check to see which gate your connecting flight will be departing from.

2) When you exit Concourse B (US Gates) make a left turn and head toward the International Terminal.

3) When you enter the International Terminal, make a right turn and walk to the other end of the terminal.

4) Make a right turn, and head toward Concourse F, which will be on your left.

5) Go through security and head toward your gate.

Note that UA International flights head out of Concourse G in the International Terminal. The directions are the same except that at step three you go forward once you are at the other end of the terminal as security for that concourse is looking right at you once you are there.

In any case, I would allow a good hour to do this. More if you have any kind of issue regarding mobility.

Hope this helps.

Go outside of Terminal 4, on the Ticketing level (one up from Baggage Claim), using the South curb. Find the area that says "Interterminal bus" (I think it is down by the end). Take the bus past T3 and over to T2. Get off the bus at T2. Walk inside and reclear security.

Thanks everyone on the instructions, glad we have over 2 hours in each airport (if planes are on time) to make our connections and we have no mobility issues.
