Whale Watching Cabo Late Dec vs Early Jan any Difference?

Is there much of a difference in activity late December vs. early Jan.? I am guessing it will be pretty much the same. Looking at doing this in Cabo. Thanks.

The whales generally start arriving in numbers toward the middle of December. This is not an absolute however. Not all of them carry a DayTimer with them. They can arrive earlier or rarely, even later.

I guess the bottom line is that the end of December "should" be good. Where-as early January will hedge toward "will" be good.

My own personal preference for whale watching in Cabo is in early to mid February but that's just personal preference. I feel I have a better chance of seeing Mom (whale) out with her juvenile during that time frame.

You can watch the Cabo forum board at TripAdvisor. People will start posting when the whales first arrive.
