Question Another MIA to FLL travel question

My wife and I are cruising on Crown in January. As we leave the 16th and come from a snow region, I booked flights from Boston to MIA as it was much more less cost at the time than FLL. What is the best way to get from MIA to the Fort Lauderdale area the day before? I am assuming that there are no transfers from Princess since its the day before, and we are staying at Hyatt Place the night before the cruise. Thanks

I did a little on-line research for you. It seems there are many transportation companies that you can take. You may want to google "airport transfer from Miami to port everlades" & see some options. Here's one site that may be helpful: http://www.world-airport-transfer.co...fer_city=miami. Have a wonderful trip!

I have read many positive comments on SAS transportation. They also have very good pricing.

Their website is:

I have looked into van services before and always end up renting a car. We have looked into a shared van service and one of the problems for us a least is luggage especially on longer trips. The DW tends to over pack and on the shared rides they limit the number of luggage pieces (read the fine print as to how much) and if you are over it they will charge as if the luggage was an additional passenger. If sharing a ride is not an option for you then a rental is usually much cheaper anyway.

Traveling Friday to Mia and renting from Budget for $54.
Turn in the car Saturday, just down from the pier, and their van will deliver us to the port. Painless

We booked SAS Transportation to take us from MIA to hotel in Fort Lauderdale the day before the cruise. They will also pick us up at Fort Lauderdale and take us back to MIA after the cruise. They were hightly recommended on the Ports of Call Board.

Google Miami airport transportation, and start sending emails to the various companies. I've done this before and they will take you to FLL pier.
