I have just booked a first cruise on the Millenium for November 2010. I booked a room on the Sky deck, but now am unsure if this is too high. I have never been seasick, but my lady has. Ideas or thoughts?

We have sailed on several Millie class ships and prefer the Sky Deck.
The issue may be location of your cabin more than deck. If you are foreward you will feel more motion than mid ship. And if you hit high seas it will not matter where your cabin is. The normal antidotes for mal de mer are bonine, ginger, wrist guards, and scopalamine patches (which have side effects.) The Sky Deck (9) is conveniently close to the pools, fitness center, and Lido. To be honest the only thing I do not like about the deck is the hassle of returning from the life boat drill with everyone dragging their vests and straps. But that's one very brief interlude and a necessary one to boot. Have a wonderful cruise. |

Best deck.
You'll love it. Don't change a thing.
