Default pool decks on Dawn & Sky - where are the non-smoking area?

I understand the pool deck is divided into smoking/nonsmoking. I take it that there are signs delineating this. What side is the non-smoking area?

On the Dawn last year the smoking area seemed to be only on the port side Deck 12. No signs that I could see. Only indication was that is where the ashtrays were. There were also ashtrays at the bar.

On the Dawn, the tables around the pool had "no smoking" emblems molded in to the top and no ashtrays.

I was just on the Dawn and could find no evidence of those emblems or of other smoking/non signage around the pool area. And there was nothing in the Daily about "one side only." The crew only placed ash trays on the tables on one side, but I observed several people carry an ash tray across the pool area and smoke on the other side. I observed no enforcement, and I hesitated to register a complaint myself since the situation was so unclear.

The Dawn is a beautiful ship. But with many policies that appear to differ with the balance of the NCL fleet, it is my least favorite.

I think I read somewhere that smoking was permitted in MOST open areas. Deck 12 thru 14 is probably the most open so take that for what it's worth.
Being a smoker I DO respect those who don't and do my best to find the appropriate area. A good indicater to me on the Dawn was that those in the crew who smoked seemed to stay to the port side. Again.....where the ashtrays were placed.

My mistake...the no smoking symbols were on the tables on the Pearl, not the Dawn, and not all the tables.

From the NCL website FAQs;

We want you to be comfortable on board, so public areas throughout all NCL ships are smoke free. If you smoke cigarettes, you can do so in your stateroom, on your balcony, in the casino or Cigar Bar (where available). If you prefer pipes or cigars, you can smoke in the Cigar Bar or designated smoking lounge. Also, you can smoke cigarettes, pipes and cigars outside on open decks (just not around food venues, sport decks, kids' pool areas and other designated non-smoking areas).
