has anyone been on carnival booked fishing excursion from mazatlan? If so the good and the bad.

The pack lunch was okay. It was a long trip (6-7 hours) and you went about 25-30 miles out from shore. The whale that swam right by the boat was a high point. We have seen these (Jack...?) and Durado about the same size many times in winter in Mazatlan

My father bought a fishing tour for himself and my son on our Jan '06 trip to Mazatlan. Mind you - this was a few years ago. Lunch was provided on the trip and when my son peeled back the bread to see what was in the sandwich - the meat was moldy. Needless to say, we've never booked this excursion again.
