Holland America has joined RCCL in removing South Korean ports and replacing them with Japanese ones for ships that are also visiting China.

I don't think there's anything out there on HA's move, other than what's being reported in roll-calls on this site, but this article is on RCCL's action earlier this year:

So, do you think that the Japan cruises that visit South Korea might make a change and go to China or ????? instead if they might be doing a trans pacific? Just thinking out loud..or maybe Maui?

The current drops of South Korean ports for ships based in China is due to Chinesee political mandates rather than cruise line concerns for passenger safety. Thus there is currently no reason for Japanese based cruises to drop South Korean ports.
