Default Queen Elizabeth TV Inputs

Hi,

Does anyone know what inputs the TV has? I may want to link up my iPad via a HDMI lead.

Here is the back of the TV in a QE Britannia Grade cabin.

That is in urgent need of a good dust; I believe Mr Cruachan is our new resident domestic goddess.

Now, what I really want to know is why you photographed it...

How does Mr Cruachan rate against your live-in domestic staff?

Anyone would be an improvement on the ex-staff, though according to Mr C's ex-cat, he is singularly useless.

Oh, and you haven't answered my little question.

Sorry... I didn't think it needed answering . In case someone asked .

(Years ago I provided domestic service, board and lodging for two of your distant relations. For one, everything was always just right, she was grateful for meals and services provided and all the hard work involved. For her sister, NOTHING was ever good enough; the food set out was, after being carefully inspected... ignored. The sleeping arrangements were totally inadequate (resulting in her careful selection of the staff's accommodation as her own) From this I was able to learn, many years ago, that identical food, service and accommodation will be the best-ever for some, and the worst-ever for others. A good apprenticeship for this board ).

Actually, the back may be more interesting that what is showing on the front.

Those pics are VERY much appreciated by us "techno geeks" with iPods, digital / video cameras, laptops... etc.
Also.. I like the power outlet pics too

I take lots of pictures, and each evening download all to my IPad, and we have a music / slideshow of the trip so far (while someone else takes her time dressing...) over drinks before dinner. (really just use the bigger TV speakers as a music player...).

So THANKS!

As a techno dud I would greatly appreciate it if you could tell what the hdmi/TV/Ipod set up does - I mean what can you see or hear on the ipad or TV - and how it works =and what does one need?
I presume QV will be the same; we have an Ipod and we are on the QV world cruise next year .
Thanks

Rob

You can buy various types of leads to connect an iPhone or iPad to a tv - this is useful if, for instance, you want to watch a film that you have saved on said gadget as it allows you to watch the film on a full size screen - I can save approximately 50 films on my iPad so, in effect, I can take my own film library away with me. I also have a card reader which allows me to download any photos or videos that I have taken with my camera, directly to my iPad/iPhone. You can also then view those via the tv too. I'm afraid my iPod is probably an antique now (presumably the first generation) and I'm not up to speed on the latest version, however, if I connected my antique iPod to the tv I would expect to hear my stored music play through the tv. I hope this explanation helps a little. Enjoy your world cruise next year.
