Sun Princess - Recent experiences?

Hi, we are considering the Sun Princess for a south pacific itinerary from Sydney. I would welcome any recent reviews, pictures, etc about this ship since the recent refurbishment as I have not been successful in finding many current pictures or videos. Thank you :)

According to her recent reviews it sounds like she is having endless drydock issues. I.e aircon, toilets not flushing, lifts among other breakdowns, engines. Sure these will be sorted out. Lets hope soon!

You might was to also post this on the Aus & NZ page as she sails out of Sydney ..... In a few weeks we will embark for her 75 circle pacific cruise

Doubt if she would be in any better shape than the Sea Princess...we did a mini segment from Sydney to Melbourne to fill cabins for the round world cruise.

The woodwork was very knocked about in our cabin, carpets pretty bare & spotted, and drapes very faded. There was a gaping hole on the balcony where it met the sliding door due to corrosion & the rail on the deck was very worn.

We had sailed on her about 7 yrs ago & noticed the new refurbishment of some of the public areas. Some of this was good, other parts seemed to make a very minor difference (such as the pizza restaurant).

A cruise is a cruise tho', and unless the boat is not moving, we still had an enjoyable time!
