St. Kitts shopping

Is there a shopping area within walking distance of the pier that the Miracle is docked? We always pick up a hand crafted item, something hand carved, whenever we visit a new port. We will probably do a scenic tour but that may or may not include shopping.

There is shopping at Port Zante that would have locally made crafts. Just before leaving the Port Zante area,before entering the large pink bldg(Pelican Mall) there are many boothes to your left that will have what you may be looking for.

This Google Earth picture gives a sense of the port area. There has been a lot of construction since this was taken (2003).
