Strange laundry question...

We plan on buying the laundry package on our upcoming cruise.

If I were to put my panties in a mesh bag, would they just wash them in that as opposed to letting them fly around loose? I'll hand wash my bras, but I really prefer my panties to be washed in the laundry when possible, and I've found that the lace gets pulls when they aren't in the mesh bag.

I have found they take special requests for laundry. I have asked them not to put my silk shirts in the dryer and they have always hung them to dry. Just put a note at the bottom of your laundry slip and you should be fine.

This is EXACTLY the type of info I was hoping for--thank you SO MUCH!!!

They will take specific requests, but they also have occasional mad moments ... like the time they started attaching the identifier labels with a staple gun :(

So if your delicates are particularly, well, delicate then you might want to send a test batch and see if you're happy with the result. If not there is a retractable laundry line in the shower.
