No power at lido buffet and still have not left port and we are a hour late. Some aft stairwells have been block of and aft elevators are not operating.

That's bad, all the excitement of getting ready to sail away and now problems. It is really strange that they blocked off stairwells. I can see the elevators if power to them was off or questionable for some reason. Please post additional information as you get it.

At least this happened while alongside at Havensight

and not out in the middle of the open sea!

I'll be keeping an eye on this thread

mainly because I board Valor in nine days time.

Some sort of electrical fire. Crew doesn't seem to worried. All of ship is working except certain aspects of the aft.

My son and his friend are headed off on the Valor next Sunday... don't think I'll tell him about this yet.

Small fire in a cabin all systems working fine.

Captain says we will sail soon.

Thanks for the info!

Please continue your "investigation" -keep asking questions.

What caused the small fire in someone's cabin?

A fan? Hair dryer? What sort of appliance?

Cigarette? A bonfire got out of hand? (you never know!!)

Did anyone get put off the ship for doing silly stuff/breaking rules?

I was wondering the same thing. Where are the occupants of that cabin sleeping tonight, another cabin on the ship or a hotel room in St. Thomas?
