Default It's been 6 years since we sailed DCL...

Anything new or any changes we should know about? Our one and only cruise on Disney was quite an adventure! DS who was 8 mo old at the time got sick with the stomach virus before dinner the FIRST night and was quarantined to the room the remainder of the cruise (thank GOD for travel insurance!) DCL went above and beyond taking care of us but here we are 6+ years later and excited to go again! It seems cruise rates are a lot higher with DCL these days so we are just booked on the 3 night next January Along with my DH and I, we will have my DS (7) and DD (14) as well as my sister and her husband who who have DD (9) and a DS (1).

Do they still do rotating dinners every night? Do people still dress up according to the themes? I remember dressing up for pirate night one night. What is the alcohol policy?

Any tips are welcome and we can't wait to sail DCL again!

Welcome back to DCL. You will love the Dream. Your kids will probably love the AquaDuck (it was the best part of the cruise for my seven year old granddaughter). You will rotate among the restaurants. As of now you can still bring whatever alcohol you want onboard with you. It is supposed to be in your carryon (and has to fit through the scanner).

Have a great cruise!

YOu do still rotate among the dining rooms and the dress seems to be cruise casual and there is still a Pirates Night where you can dress accordingly..

If you liked the Wonder/Magic, you will really like the Dream. They really enhanced what was already pretty good. The buffet is quite nice in comparison as an example.

Probably the best thing to do is look at reviews/posts/pictures people have listed here. There are at least 3 or 4 in the last year which have a ton of pictures of the Dream throughout the ship.
