Would love some souvenirs ideas NY to Quebec City RT

Cruising up the north east coast to Quebec City and back... wondering about souvenirs... any ideas... first time we will cruise this area.

Some times I like to find a specialty candy or confection to bring back vs trinkets...

In Quebec anything with maple; maple butter, maple syrup, maple candy etc.

Wonder if any one has any thoughts about Boston, Newport, Halifax... etc.
