How is the best way to get to Atlantis from Nassau

Agree - private taxi. There are many at the pier terminal and an equal amount at Atlantis returning as this is a popular and well traveled route. Safe and inexpensive.

And our last time there - December '12 Christmas cruise - we were able to tour the aquarium, walk the hotel grounds, yacht watch at the marina, and go to the casino. All at no charge. Not sure if they just weren't monitoring the aquarium that night or we looked like we belonged there, but we went just after dinner and stayed until about 10:00 PM and had free run of the place. Certainly could have changed since then but that was our experience.

Just there twice in the past 2 months. Get a taxi as soon as you leave the port terminal building. Make sure you agree on a price (no more than) 10$-12$ For the private ride to the hotel, for the both of you. If you arrange for a taxi inside the terminal it's 4$ pp and you have to wait till they cram all 16 of you in a mini van. The past few times we were there they were not letting anyone wander around especially the beach or aquarium area. Once at Atlantis You can walk around the outdoor shops and view the yachts and dock area and go to the casino and restaurants It is very easy to get a taxi back to the ship just go to the taxi stand. Again it's 4$ pp. be prepared for a wild and crazy ride!!!!!
