We only did it twice on our last cruise, but had a good experience each time. The first time we went we only waited about 5 minutes to be seated. The second time was the first of two "elegant" nights and we waited about 25 minutes as the line was l-o-n-g but it kept moving so it wasn't bad. We were cruising with other family members and they preferred eating at the buffet, so they didn't have to change clothes for dinner, so that's mostly what we did.

We like it. We had a party of 4 last year and never had to wait longer than 10 minutes. I like the flexability of eating when we want. This cruise, we'll have 6. I hope we will have another good experience.

With anytime dining would a couple be sat by themselves or with others?

Just request a table for two.

We've done ATD for quite sometime now, and that's the only way I'll dine from now on. I like the flexability to go when ever we want. I also like the fact that you can request a favorite waiter each time.

Tried YTD for the first time on my last cruise and definitely enjoyed it. Most times we made sure we were there before 7 to avoid the lines, and we liked to be done in time for martinis around 9 at the martini bar. Never waited more than 10 minutes and we were a group of 3.

As I tell everyone: it's a lot like a regular restaurant without a reservation, if you come with a big group at peak time (7pm) then you can expect to wait. If those are your expectations though, you might want to book on the Carnival Miracle cause that's what you'll need!

I like it ......
But when I sail in a group I do traditional seating. ...
The earlier you go the faster you get through dinner

Thanks to everyone....I will stick to the anytime dinning. I'm used to it since I have done most of my sailing on NCL. We never had an issue on NCL but then that's the dinning they provide. Looking forward to finding an awesome wait staff and sticking with them. We prefer to dine either by ourselves or ask another couple to join us. With my experience of dinning at a large table..I tend to order more food and it takes so long we miss the shows. We usually go for dinner at about 6pm but love the flexibility if we are on shore longer to enjoy the port and get a later dinner no need to rush back for dinner. Thanks again

I'm excited about sailing on Carnival again and MY husband can't wait to have the Chocolate Melting Cake again!
