Picture-A-Week 2013 - Week 29

We have a major problem -- with one of our hummingbirds.

We have no idea if she is dying or what.

When I got home from the dentist about 2:30 (eastern time) -- she was just sitting on the feeder:

DH was able to get close to the window and he said that she appeared to be shivering -- it was 91 degrees outside.

About 4:30 -- I saw her getting a drink.

About 5:30 we left the TV room to make dinner.

When we came back -- she had switched to the other side.

It is now about 7:05 and she is still there.

We have never had anything like this happen in the past.

Anyone have a clue what is happening?? Is she dying?? She is small like a baby.

The hummingbird left at 8:50 last night -- went straight down into our bushes.

Then the hummingbird returned at 6:15 this morning.

The hummingbird flittered down to the bushes around 10:30 this morning.

Some more of our day lilies around the yard.

Double headers

Had a hail storm yesterday afternoon

Yuk - hail isn't good. Love the purple and cream lilies - very different from the usual "tiger" lilies.

We love lilies and they are so easy to care for. The first one -- purple with the white throat -- we just got this year.

Our storms the last couple of days have been terrible.

The hummingbird flittered down to the bushes around 10:30 this morning.

What is the latest on your humming bird?

We have not seen her.

We have seen the two males the last couple of days.

Our butterflies won't stay still long enough for me to take their.

They are very unco-operative.
