What would you like to see on Royal Caribbean's new ship(s)?

The word is quickly spreading that Royal Caribbean has signed a letter of intent to build its next generation of new cruise ships. (At 158,000 tons and carrying 4,100 passengers, they're more Freedom-sized than Oasis-sized.) We're curious: What would you like to see RCI include on these new ships in terms of dining, public spaces, activities, etc.?

We're curious: What would you like to see RCI include on these new ships in terms of dining, public spaces, activities, etc.?

I would like to see a ship oriented toward three generation cruises which would include family suites with two bathrooms, good children's programs, dancing venues with music that appeals to baby boomers, etc in a setting that never lets you forget you are on a ship (such as Radiance class ships).

Hopefully there will be two FloRiders! They are just so much fun! :D

More ocean views like the Radiance class.

Temperature controlled Solarium, again, like the Radiance class.

Real free-style dining venues.

A large enclosed comfy library/reading room with an ocean view.

A Spanish Tapas place.

Love the covered solarium.

Concierge lounge with views (not like the ones on the Voyager Class).

cigar and high end liquor club

comedy club

live music club

diamond lounge with an ocean view

quality golf simulators

HIGH SPEED INTERNET!

Okay, at least moderate speed internet.

I think there ought to be an inside pool (not the solarium, which by it's very name ought to be in the sun!)

Roll out the Royal tots nursery again(but make it free)

More family suites with two bedrooms. Not fused over two bathrooms though, and would even be favour of some interior family staterooms with two bedrooms.

More inside seating areas.

More ocean views.

remove the central promenade. Who needs that anyway?

Make sure it looks like a ship again, and not a block of flats on water, or like the 'epic' monstrosity!!

More elevators.

More dining options after 9:00 pm.

More embarkation agents.

Less passenger per tonne density.

Less bingo announcements.

Less time in muster drills.

Solo-cruiser cabins with no overcharge.

I think there ought to be an inside pool (not the solarium, which by it's very name ought to be in the sun!)

I suggested a temperature controlled Solarium (retractable roof and heating) since during my recent transatalntic on the Adventure even the solarium was unusable for most of the cruise.

I would like a balcony cabin that will hold a family of five, with possibly two bathrooms (or at least two potties).

A Central Park with those yummy roast beef sandwiches

multiple pools- esp a "beach pool"

More shows like "Blue Planet"

cabin sizes to equal Freedom class

What would you like to see on Royal Caribbean's new ship(s)?

A covered or partially covered deck adjacent to the Windjammer (or buffet) for outdoor dining.

A retractable sun-roof over at least one of the pools.

More ocean views -- LOTS more.

A running/walking track that does not interfere with pool patrons.

A self-serve laundry room.

A truly "adult" space. No one under 21....

Put MTD in its own area...sharing traditional space with MTD can be unpleasant.

Make the solarium area larger...have a cover...again..adults only.

Expand the specialties..charge more..and include beverages.

Lots of glass like the Radiance Class

Outdoor eating at the Windjammer

Shower doors(no curtains)

Faster internet

More views to the ocean like Radiance class

Pretty sure the Oasis class has 24 elevators, while Freedom and Voyager class have 16.

I'd like to see a waterslide, preferably one that protrudes over the ocean.

A regular electrical outlet in the bathroom so one can use the blow dryer or curling iron without disturbing others in the cabin!

I second the call for an ADULTS EXCLUSIVE enclosed pool and/or other space.
