Canadian woman dies when whale hits boat

Carqueen1 I'm not sure what you think is typical. The boat in the accident is run by Cabo Adventures, which is a very large excursion company in Cabo and other parts of Mexico. The boat was coming back into port when the whale appeared in front of it suddenly. The captain attempted to avoid it but the whale hit the boat.

 

I agree, there are many rouge tour operators who do not obey the rules, but this company is not one of them. It was an unfortunate accident.

I saw that..its so sad but typical Mexico, with everyone trying to make a buck and take the tourists to the whales, Im sure there was a crowd of boats there....

 

 

As CW cruisers states this tour was done by a wellknown decent company. It as real bad luck in every aspect. I wonder what your reacrtions would have been if this had happened in San Diego or Monterey?
