Royal Caribbean Shore Excursions Cabo San Lucas?

Hi,

we are doing the Panama Canal Cruise in May on Jewel of the Seas.

We don't know what to do in Cabo San Lucas - we only know the arches of Land's End.

We checked Shore excursions from Royal Caribbean and can't decide between:

- Deluxe Coastal Scenic Cruise and seasonal Whale Watching: Enjoy calming ocean breezes and breathtaking coastal scenery on a 2-hour catamaran sail around Los Arcos peninsula. Marine Life: The Sea of Cortez is home to six different types of whales. Land’s End: Behold towering rock formations, which protrude high above dazzling turquoise waters along the coast near Lover’s Beach.

- Land's End Boat Trip & Scenic Stop: Catamaran Cruise: Enjoy coastal and ocean views during the 40-minute ride on the 100-guest vessel. I checked google and found out, that whale watching is normally only possible till April... is there a chance to see whales in May?

What can you recommend us?

Don't know anything you or your interests, so hard to make a recommendation. But the focus of the whale watch tour at that time will not be whales. Humpbacks will be gone. Anything else you see is a bonus.

Cabo is a beautiful bay, at the end of a peninsula, sticking well into largest ocean in the world. We have had lovely boat excursions when the seas are calm. We have had our world rocked when the seas are rough. Mother nature will decide how nice your boat tour is

Correct, no whales in May; however, you can see sea lions and possibly schooling mobular rays. The rays sometimes leap out of the water! They resemble small mantas.
