  1. 1. Should Carnival keep the aft area pools on Conquest Class ships adult only?

    • No I want them to be family friendly
    • Don't care either way

If the main pool area is too crowded and making the aft pool area family friendly keeps more kids occupied so they aren't interfering with whatever I would be doing, it's fine with me.

YES.....YES....YES

Also.... The Splendor was included in this change....The Splendor as well as all Conquest Class ships should go back to the policy of adults only aft pool and hot tubs!

I am very disappointed about this change! I would never have booked my upcoming B2B on the Splendor if I knew this would be the case. I would have selected a ship with a nicer Serenity Area if I had the chance!

Very sad....and I have ALWAYS been a big fan of Carnival and embraced all the other changes :(

It honestly doesn't phase me. We have cruised as a family the last 7 years. Our kids are now 16 and 20. There were times we spent maybe an hour in the adult pool on a sea day. I actually prefer the Serenity area. Maybe this will help with the overcrowding of the hot tubs.

This is a picture of the aft Liner Pool taken during one of our Carnival Splendor cruises. Seems to me that there are plenty of adults that partake of the adults only pool. If you make this area kid friendly, then the two hot tubs here will be over- run also, leaving zero adult only hot tubs, since Splendor's Serenity doesn't have any! clear.png?emoji-mad-1709

Yea....It gives the unruly rug rats two more hot tubs to take over. And if you sail on a ship whose Serenity area has no hot tubs, then there are zero areas for adults to avoid the kids. From what I have been told, even Disney has an adult's only pool.

Is this a new policy on all their ships? It's very disappointing as we spend a lot of time here. I think this will hurt their business, unless all they want is families on their ships.

It leaves only the Sunshine and Pride in their Serenity areas as well as the Vista in the Havana area as the only ship's in the fleet where adults can swim brat (I mean kid) free.

And if they are leaning towards promoting families, then that will take away from the casino and bar business, two high profit centers that are not usually occupied by family oriented adults.

makes me think twice about booking any ship without an adults only pool.

Your choice is down to 3 ships at this point and 4 once the Horizon comes out. And two of these ships you need to pay a premium for the privilege. ( in Havana )

Carnival recently announced that the aft pool areas are now family friendly and are no longer designated for adults only. What is your opinion?

Don't expect this to do any good but thanks for starting the poll. One of my main reasons for loving the Conquest class was for the adult only pool.
