Bag to carry on and Ropes course/skyride

Hi

Just wondering what to bring in my carry on bag for the ship. I was thinking suit, towel, sunscreen and flip flops. Anything else?

And are the ropes course and skyride open during embarkation? Just wondering if we should wear our tennis shoes on the ship so we can do those activities.

Thanks!

My carry on is a backpack that has everything I may need for 2 days survival without luggage.

Medicines, toiletries, and clothes, ID, and cash.

Survival only.

No makeup, blow driers, 3 pair shoes, etc.

I normally carry 1 change of clothes, electronics, medications, and toiletries in my carry on. Swimsuit, flip flops, if I am planning to "swim" before muster.

I can't answer whether the ropes/skyrider will be open, but I believe that I read that they are. They both require closed-toe shoes.

We recommend you also bring clothes you might want to change into for dinner, especially if you dine early or don't want to change, because sometimes luggage doesn't arrive until after sailing.

I think the ropes course is open. My better half surprised me by doing it & I know the ship wasn't moving, so it was probably before we sailed. They won't let you on the course in flip flops or bare feet.
