Transport options from denarau

Hi,

We are visiting Port Denarau for the 3rd time in November this year and thought we would venture further away from the marina and the hotel circuir this time. :)

What's the best way to get to Nadi, and approximately how much is the cost?

In January 2014, we caught the local Yellow Bus to Nadi (which goes past some resorts) from the tender drop off area. You need local currency and it cost $1.15 Fijiian.

To get Fijiian currency, we bought a drink in a store near the bus stop, using $20 Australian and got the change in Fijiian. It was sufficient for the return trip and a coffee prior to returning to the ship.
