Costa Maya

I am pretty sure you didn't snorkel if you had an awful time. The town located about 4 miles away has several snorkel tours and they are wonderful. We actually picked our last cruise ship because it was going to Costa Maya. It is a primitive place if you compare it to all of the other Western Caribbean ports. We thought it was the BEST!!! Get off the ship and venture out alittle. You will really be glad you did. Outside of the main pavillion are places to take snorkel tours that last 2-3 hours and cost about $23 pp. You can't beat it, and it is some of the best snorkeling out there. Sorry you had a bad time, but you really should try it again. Take Care

Someone on that ship should ask the cruise director if he is a killjoy or he wants people to stay on board to boost his takings. That is the worst thing I have heard regarding Costa Maya. With just a small bit of adventure in your blood you would have had a wonderful day. Read the other reports here and you wil see what you missed out on.

Sorry you believed some ignorant, misinformed imbecile.
