When can you get into your cabin

Its' been a number of years since we cruised on Carnival so we are wondering when you can get into your cabin. We are used to cruising with Princess and can get in our cabin immediately when we get on the ship. Thanks for any info.

if it is important to you, I would suggest buying the faster to the fun. my dh's health is not that great and sometimes it's nice to board, go to the cabin and get a short nap before heading out into the crowds. or at the very least leaving off your carry ons so you don't have to have them with you until 1:30. :)
