Just wondering if anyone knows if Carnival docks at a pier in Belize or if it is a tender?
Are there site seeing activities or shops within walking distance of the ship? What is there to do beside Ruins and Water activities? We, party of 4, are interested in site seeing in Belize. Are there any other excursion companies that you would recommend besides the ones offered by Carnival?

Belize is a tender port. Upon arrival at the dock, there are all sorts of shops within the dock area and outside of the dock area. When we went to Belize, we did a cave tubing excursion booked privately with cave-tubing.com. It was a memorable experience and less costly than booking with the ship. I understand there is an interesting zoo to visit but I havn't been there.

No pier for ships in Belize...all passengers regardless of what ship they are on, are tendered into port
