I don't feel comfortable with traveling to the Caribbean. This would be on a Thanksgiving holiday. Yes I know it's more than 2 months BUT if I don't cancel soon then I loose a lot of $$$$. Also, and I am sorry for saying this, but I don't believe that the infrastructures to support tourism will be done by that time. And I am even more hesitant and sorry to say the following but I would think that crime could be up as well, as minor as petty theft, just because they are in such hardship, who can blame them right? I also would not feel safe traveling and doing things on my own.

How would I go on cancelling or even getting credit on this cruise. Please help me. I am very concerned

I think you should call the cruise line or your TA sooner rather than later.

Hope you get a good response.

Well.... they are very positive when I called them-you know what I mean;)

But I am pursuing the cancellation

How about non refundable airline fares? does anyone know?

I strictly use United and have found that they give you a year from the date you booked your flight (not from the actual date of the flight) to use the dollar amount you paid for your flight, BUT there is a $200. fee.
