Not knowing the circumstances for missing a port, one thing I can tell you is read your cruise contract. ALL lines will say basically the same thing about port deviations, they can do it when needed and compensation is not a given. Usually, they will refund port fees and some might, I say MIGHT, compensate for a missed port.

 

As I said, you may want to post on the HAL board and someone may have been on the same cruise and possibly have details as to why the port was missed. Cruise lines are not in the habit of lying, it doesn't help them in any way.

 

Sorry your cruise wasn't satisfactory.
