Ventura Arrives in Southampton (Pics)

Ventura arrived for the first time in Southampton this morning. At first it looked like it was going to be in a snowstorm but the snow did stop and the sun tried its best to break through!

I still think any ship too large for the current locks of the Panama Canal is too big!!

The sun came out for Ventura as she started to make her turn to lie portside at the Mayflower.

Lots like us turned up to see. Impressive site. She is very tall.

Love the photos.

We were in Southampton for her arrival and watched her arrive from Mayflower Park. In the afternoon, we took the Harbour Tour from Ocean Village and the sun came out and we got some fantastic close up pictures.
