Great Bay, Little Bay, Dawn?

How far is each of these from Phillipsburg and can you take a taxi or water taxi?

Great Bay and Little Bay are in Phillipsburg. Great Bay can be reach by water taxi in 10 minutes or a 17 minute walk. Little Bay 10-15 min. via cab and Dawn beach just a 15-20 minute ride.

So if Great Bay has pollution problems, Little Bay would too?

If so then we would probably go to Dawn . Or Mullet , which is farther?

Mullet can have traffic issues, so can be a longer trip. Check out Mr. Busby's bar at Dawn Beach. :)

Nope not the case. Due to the ocean currents Little Bay is not effected from the pollution source that pollutes Great Bay. Little Bay always tests well.
