RCCL transfers to Ensenada

We have booked Legend of the Seas from Ensenada to Hawaii and our roll call has been waiting patiently for information abut possible transfers from San Diego (where most people will be flying into) to Ensenada.

We finally got word about it from travel agents and RCCL.

RCCL has buses that will transfer between cities for no cost to the passenger, you just meet at a pre selected location, in our case and most other cases, Pier B in San Diego at a pre selected time with cruise documentation in hand and you will be boarded and driven to Ensenada to catch your ship.

This trip is approx. 1.5 hours long but according to other reviewers could take up to 3 hours depending on traffic at boarder stations.

You'd check in at the pier in San Diego. Ensenada does not have the facilities for embark or debark.

The pier is a few miles from the airport, about a $10 taxi ride. Could walk it it you really needed to.

Do you know if transfer is available form the airport?

We are also on the Legend out of Ensenada with Becci. The Transfers provided include one from the Airport as well. Buses will depart every 15 mins from the Airport starting at 10:45 AM and take the passengers to the Pier B where they will also checkin and rebound another bus to Ensenada. You have an option to simply go to the Pier B which we will do on the day of sailing as we are staying next to the pier.
