Pre Cruise to New York

We are going on Quantum of the Sea Dec 12 2014, We are staying At Hilton Garden Inn , Staten Island New York. We took their park and Shuttle to Pier package.

Now Main question is , how do we go to New York to see Statue of Liberty, Times Square , and Empire state building . I am not big fan of driving in New York.

So how and where could we get Public transit, Subway to see all these?

Any suggestions would help....

It's a short drive to the St George Ferry terminal (Staten Island Ferry). $8 to park there. Free ferry to Manhattan where you can hook up with mass transit to anywhere you want to go. Download a map of the NYC MTA system.

The Hilton has a free shuttle (by reservation) to and from the ferry as well.
